Hi, I'm Dominique!
I’m glad you’re here!
Let's explore the root, triggers and symptoms of your concerns that present in your everyday life. We will work to understand your concerns, how your life has been affected, and implement healthier ways to manage and cope with struggles.
In the therapy room:
My clients describe me as authentic, warm, understanding and unbiased, which increases their feelings of safety. I engage with Clients by building healthy therapeutic relationships. I strongly believe in the importance of respecting and supporting Clients as the author of their life. I offer a safe and nonjudgmental environment to validate and support you on your journey toward healing.
My specialty areas include:
Grief and loss, childhood trauma, and adolescent issues. I utilize a person centered, strengths based approach and view challenges through a trauma informed lens.
You can expect to feel safe and heard with me.
I want to help you to be curious about yourself, and your needs to be the most authentic version of you. I believe each individual and family should be treated with curiosity, compassion, and individual attention.
I received my Master’s in Counseling from Oakland University. I have worked with children, teens and adults. I am a certified trauma therapist and have additional training in grief and loss. I am working on continuing my education to become a Certified Advanced Drug and Alcohol Counselor.
Outside the Office:
I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a daughter and partner who love being outside-I would rather be inside reading! I love to read, learn and spend time with my loved ones.
